Semi Automated Drilling Machine

JPH Enterprises Pty Ltd was asked to design a small drilling machine that was semi automated. This Unit was designed to have flat wooden semi circular pieces stacked and loaded into the back of the machine. The Unit was programmed to automatically take one piece at a time and load it into the main section. The enclosed drill was programmed to drill set rows of holes in the piece. When finished the pieces drop onto the ground to be collected. This process was normally done by one person on a drilling press. This unit can also be built to take different size pieces of wood.
